Each notification is greyed out and cannot outtlook clicked on to go direct to that message, but you can click above on outlook to open outlook.

Not sure whether it is a Windows issue or Office issue. As you can see with the screenshot below the emails in the action centre are greyed out and un-clickable. I remember it because initially I couldn’t even click on the Outlook icon at the top of the notification centre it would say something about it location being moved. I had to give the correct outlook location in the hard drive and then it at least worked. Ok I’ve figured out what has been causing it at least for me.
I did a clean install of Windows 10 Installed Office I then connected two accounts to Outlook An Exchange ActiveSync outlook. The Action Centre was able to display notifications that I could select on and it would open the email, which is good. I then added a third email account, a Microsoft Exchange another work account and when I notificatikns the third, aftion notifications went grey and I couldn’t select them to open any email from any account.
It seems in my case at least when you have 3 accounts added to Outlookit no longer works in the Outlook notifications windows 10 action center free download Centre. MSO Hopefully someone has an answer for this. This is my issue exactly. Although you seem to remember the notifications being actionable at one point notificatins time. Are you sure you’re not confusing it with the Mail app provided by windows 10? Also thanks for posting. I’m not sure how to get a reply from a Microsoft Team Member here.
Their phone support was unable to help me, and could not confirm or deny that the notifications should or should not, be actionable. In reply to ApaxGelfling’s post on May 31, Hopefully a Microsoft support person or MVP can give us an answer how to fix this.

Action Centre, a big hyped up feature of Windows 10, is really a waste of time and space. Its also how inconstant the Office applicatioons are, full of old icons, conflicting settings, defaults to open IE on Windows 10, not Edge, all seems lack luster. This site in other languages x.

Open the action center with the action center icon at the bottom right-hand side of your taskbar. The icon as a white outline means no notifications are waiting for you, while a full white icon indicates the action center has pending items for you.
The notifications are categorized according to the application that sent them — for example, notifications from Mail are in one group, those from Windows Defender are grouped separately, those from Cortana in another group, and so on.
